Good Morning WMS Families - this morning at appx. 8:45 AM, WMS had a fire alarm go off unplanned. The students exited safety and the Attleboro Fire Department responded quickly & identified the issue with one specific smoke detector. Students were back in class shortly thereafter. We thank the fire department for their quick response and commend the students for their behavior during the alarm. Thank you.

Attleboro High School is hosting its annual Blue Pride Night on Thursday, November 7, from 6:00 to 7:30 in the AHS cafeteria. Grade 8 students and their families are strongly encouraged to attend and discover all the wonderful things our high school has to offer!
Due to an ongoing lack of rainfall and critically low water supply levels, Attleboro needs your help to conserve water resources.

Civics students at Wamsutta had a visit from the VFW last week to teach flag etiquette, as they are working hard on their VFW Patriots Pen Essays, “My Voice in America’s Democracy.”

Attleboro Families:
Attleboro High School greatly appreciates the support of families at all AHS sporting events. Recently, a large number of middle school and some elementary students have attended AHS athletic events (football/volleyball) games without parental supervision. While the majority of students are there to watch the games and enjoy the event, a number of students have been left/dropped off unsupervised. This has created safety concerns and disruptions for other fans in attendance.
Moving forward, ALL middle school aged students and younger MUST be accompanied by an adult at all high school events. We appreciate your support keeping all in attendance supervised while allowing an enjoyable environment for all.
Please know this expectation is currently in place for AHS events moving forward.
