Summer EBT (S-EBT)

Summer EBT (S-EBT) is a new program that helps low-income families with school-aged children buy food when schools are closed for the summer. Eligible students will receive a one-time payment of $120. For more information on S-EBT, please refer to Massachusetts Summer EBT Program | Mass.gov. You do not need to apply if during the 2023-2024 school year your child/children got SNAP, DTA cash benefits, certain types of MassHealth coverage, SSI, were considered homeless, or were in foster care, you do not need to apply. DTA will issue Summer EBT benefits automatically to these eligible families.

Families who believe they qualify based on the National School Lunch Program income eligibility guidelines and do not fit into any of the categories below need to apply.
