Next Week and Beyond

We have four days of school next week with no school on Friday, April 18.

Mental Health Awareness Week at AHS

As part of our Mental Health Awareness week, we are excited to welcome Ivy Watts, mental health speaker who will be coming to speak to students on Monday April 14 and Wednesday April 16th. Ivy will share her journey with AHS students as a former All American student athlete and top 30 NCAA Woman of the Year finalist who struggled with anxiety and self doubt. Ivy is passing on her lessons and will give students tangible resources to support their mental health journeys. These assemblies will be held during the school day. The below event is open to all families and community members.

Multicultural Festival

Later this month the Black Student Alliance will be hosting a schoolwide event. The students did an outstanding job  creating  a promotional  video as they prepare for the Multicultural Festival. Too good not to share! Here is the YouTube link to the BSA video: BSA Together We Rise, Together We Thrive Campaign
