Busy but great week at AHS! Students are back in action in class and learning new routines, skills, and content knowledge. Our students have risen to the challenge of cell phones away from bell to bell and we continue to hold high expectations for everyone. Earlier today we sent a message about tonight's football game. Please see your email in case you missed it.

Grant Supported Counseling Services Opt-Out

During the 2024-2025 school year, Attleboro Public Schools is partnering with the Justice Resource Institute (JRI), through a grant to promote health and wellness in our school. The grant provides students access to individual and/or group counseling, at no cost to families or the school district. Services are delivered by JRI clinicians and take place during the school day either in-person or virtually. Students are identified for these services by members of the AHS Student Support Team. Once referrals are received by JRI, parent contact is made to discuss service options and to gain secondary consent before services are delivered. If you have any questions regarding these services or this opt-out form, please contact Athena Sullivan at (508) 222-5150 ext. 20038 or asullivan@attleboroschools.com. If you do NOT want your child to be referred for these grant-supported services, please complete the opt-out form below by October 7, 2024.   This JRI Consent Form linked here is effective from the day it is received by the school and will remain in effect for the duration of the 2024-2025 school year.

Financial Aid Night

We enjoyed meeting with the senior class this past Tuesday during X Block to discuss the upcoming college and career process. Our next step is to include parents and guardians in the discussion. Our Senior Planning & Financial Aid Night is Wednesday, September 25, at 6:00 in Bray Auditorium. This event is open to all seniors and their parents/guardians. After an overview of the college and career process, we will immediately turn things over to the financial aid experts from Roger Williams University to discuss the financial aid process. This financial aid event is part of a series of events we will have throughout the year on helping students and families learn how to pay for college. As a reminder, please enter through the back entrance through the cafeteria.
