APS is in the process of upgrading how we communicate. The District has recently contracted with Apptegy, an internet content provider and communication service. As a result of this new contract, we will be shifting to new tools and will no longer be using Remind. You will also notice that our website will have a fresh, new look. Please stay-tuned for more information on how to use our new communication platforms. In the meantime, if you need to contact a teacher or your child’s school, please call the school’s main office or email them directly. Have a wonderful summer vacation.

In November, fourth graders in Ms. Morin’s class and Ms. Adler’s class wrote letters to Veterans. Recipients of these letters included Veterans from the VFW who served in the Vietnam and the Korean Wars, as well as, a soldier who was received his letter while serving in Iraq! Today, a group of officers who received these letters came to meet and thank the students who wrote to them. We are so proud of our students and the impact their letters had!

Last night, sixteen of our retirees were honored at what we hope to be the first annual APS Recognition Celebration. Next week, be on the lookout for a Facebook tribute to all of our retirees.

Students from Ms. Reingold’s class traveled to the EMK institute in Boston to present their action civics projects at the Massachusetts Civics Day hosted by Generation Citizen. Students advocating for clean water in schools earned the Open-Mindedness Award for their thoughtful reflection on the future implications of their findings.
