Dear Parent or Guardian,
We hope you and your family are doing well. All of us at Attleboro Public Schools want to thank you for your efforts to support your students and keep meaningful learning happening at home. Students will have access to both Lexia and ST Math through August 2nd. Below are suggestions for both unplugged and digital summer learning.
We encourage all students to read for 30 minutes each day. Please see the summer reading website for a list of book recommendations at each grade level. In addition, your child will have access to Lexia® Core5® Reading. The activities in Core5 support and build on your child’s classroom curriculum and focus on developing reading skills.
For summer math, we encourage all students to play thinking games with their family members or friends. All you will need is a deck of cards. The directions can be found on the “Attleboro Unplugged Summer ST Math” link on this page. There is a recording sheet attached, however, students can record their games and their ratings on any paper. In addition, your child will have access to ST Math, accessed through Clever until August 2nd.
Need technical support?
Thank you for continuing your child’s learning from home this summer!
