2024-2025

Attendance Matters!

Regular and punctual school attendance is essential and required for success in school.

-The school will contact the parent/guardian should the student exceed expected absences or tardies.

-We encourage you to connect with your student’s building to determine a plan to assist you and your family to support regular school attendance.

-Parents/guardians must provide an explanation for an absence or tardiness of a child.

-Notifying the school of absences in advance is encouraged if possible. To notify the school of an absence, families should call the school directly.

All APS Attendance Policies can be found in the student handbooks.

General Eligibility Form

A General Eligibility Form is available for families who believe they may be eligible for free or reduced fees. Completing this form determines household eligibility for waived or reduced transportation, athletic, testing, and other fees. Any family who believes that qualify based on household income should apply.

If you received a NOTICE OF DIRECT CERTIFICATION from Attleboro Public Schools for the 204-2025 school year, you do not need to complete the General Eligibility Form. If any children in your household are not listed on the NOTICE OF DIRECT CERTIFICATION you must inform the student’s school.

*Completing this General Eligibility Form will in no way impact your child’s access to free lunch and breakfast.

New for 2024-2025, all eligible students in grades K-12 who wish to ride the bus to/from any of the Attleboro Public Schools MUST complete the Transportation Application to secure a bus. The only exception to this is for those with specialized transportation needs listed in an IEP. This is an annual process so even if you registered for transportation during 2023-2024 school year, you must reapply for transportation for the 2024-2025 school year.

Applications for current students received after July 25, 2024 are added to a waitlist and processed on a first come/first serve basis based on bus availability.

Students new this year can find the application, links to all documents, and more details on the Transportation Website.
