Thank you for your interest in becoming a Substitute for the Attleboro School Department. Our substitute teachers play a vital role in educating our students when a regular teacher is absent or unavailable.  We also have additional openings for supporting our clerical and nursing staff as well.    Substitute schedules are very flexible and you are able to pick and choose what days/locations work best for you.

Day-to-Day Substitute Teacher
The Attleboro Public Schools are currently looking for Day-to-Day Substitute Teachers and Paraprofessionals.  Substitutes are often needed in cases of illness, medical leave, or family emergencies.  Substitutes will follow a lesson plan and/or given directions and educational materials to conduct the class.  

* Sub positions are on an as needed basis and not benefit eligible.

Long-Term Substitute Teacher
Long-Term substitutes are subs that are assigned to a position that will extend beyond 4 weeks.  A long-term sub must have a current Massachusetts DESE certification.

Building Substitute
A building sub is a substitute that is scheduled 5 days a week for the school year.  They may not be in the same assignment each day.
