Chromebook Chargers
All district assigned Chromebooks for students use a common charger.
The specification of the charger is: USB-C, 65\45 Watts
Universal replacement chargers can be purchased locally at Best Buy and Staples or on Amazon
Dell Chromebooks require a 65 watt charger, Acer Chromebooks can use a 45 watt or 65 watt charger.
Purchasing a 65watt \45 watt (65w 45w) charger is the best option. Please make sure the adapter you purchase is UL Certified.Using a charger rated at a high wattage such as 100W is also okay. The Chromebook will not charge any faster with the high wattage as it will only draw the 65 watts or 45 watts that it needs. There is no advantage to purchasing a more expensive high watt charger.
Here are several links to replacement chargers at various cost.
You can use one of these or any similar charger you might find online.
Please note that prices are set by the seller and are subject to change. APS is not endorsing any of these sellers.
